are born, we are not born with an instruction manual. \u00a0Nothing to tell us what parts are included, where the batteries are, how to turn on, or off, and what this \u201cthing\u201d does or what its purpose is in this life.<\/div><div dir=\"ltr\">\u00a0<\/div><div dir=\"ltr\">Throughout human history, various sages and wise men have put down a list of the \u201cparts\u201d of a human being, and essentially laid down for us an instruction manual for a human. \u00a0However, the form of the manual is not easily understood by the masses of today. \u00a0This is an attempt to \u201ctranslate\u201d the ancient scriptures into a form that is readable by today\u2019s average human. \u00a0After grasping the basics, as with anything else, we can progress to the more detailed and more difficult concepts.<\/div><div dir=\"ltr\">\u00a0<\/div><div dir=\"ltr\"><div id=\"post-body-4278263122195052211\" class=\"post-body entry-content float-container\"><div dir=\"ltr\"><div dir=\"ltr\"><h3><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">The basics, included at birth:<\/span><\/h3><\/div><ul><li dir=\"ltr\"><div dir=\"ltr\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>The body<\/strong><\/span> (lowest in the hierarchy but given the most importance, unfortunately) consists of<\/div><\/li><li dir=\"ltr\"><div dir=\"ltr\">Five sense organs.<\/div><\/li><li dir=\"ltr\"><div dir=\"ltr\">Five organs of action.<\/div><\/li><li dir=\"ltr\"><div dir=\"ltr\">Supplied also, &#8211; corresponding sense objects in the world.<\/div><\/li><li dir=\"ltr\"><div dir=\"ltr\">The Mind.. The seat of emotion than desires. \u00a0The master of the body, constantly demanding, insatiable in its demands. \u00a0Oblivious of consequences to the entity.<\/div><\/li><\/ul><p><b>\u00a0<\/b><\/p><div dir=\"ltr\"><h3><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Five sense organs:<\/span><\/h3><\/div><ul><li dir=\"ltr\"><div dir=\"ltr\">Touch, skin.<\/div><\/li><li dir=\"ltr\"><div dir=\"ltr\">Taste, tongue.<\/div><\/li><li dir=\"ltr\"><div dir=\"ltr\">Sight, eyes.<\/div><\/li><li dir=\"ltr\"><div dir=\"ltr\">Smell, nose.<\/div><\/li><li dir=\"ltr\"><div dir=\"ltr\">Sound, ear.<\/div><\/li><\/ul><p><b>\u00a0<\/b><\/p><div dir=\"ltr\">Each has a corresponding sense object in the world. \u00a0Contact with a sense object and a sense organ results in immediate pleasure to the body <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">and to the Mind<\/span>, resulting in a desire (from the Mind \u2013 seat of emotions and desires) for more contact with that same sense object.<\/div><p><b>\u00a0<\/b><\/p><div dir=\"ltr\">Interestingly, but quite obvious, the more sense organs a sense object satisfies at the same time, the more valued that sense object becomes to the mind. \u00a0For example, a sense object that has a beautiful fragrance only satisfies the sense of smell (nose) and a beautiful melody or song only appears to the sense of sound. \u00a0But a music video with has both visual appeal to the sense of sight and to the sense of sound is more gratifying to the mind.<\/div><p><b>\u00a0<\/b><\/p><div dir=\"ltr\">The pinnacle of sense objects is in the ancient scriptures has been referred to as \u201cwoman\u201d but that refers to any person that the human is attracted to, applying this to the modern age.<\/div><p><b>\u00a0<\/b><\/p><div dir=\"ltr\">\u201cWoman\u201d satisfies all five <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">senses as well as the mind<\/span> because of satisfying various emotions and desires in addition to satisfying the five senses and the emotions and desires originate in the mind. \u00a0So a person to whom one is attracted satisfies six senses (five senses and mind).<\/div><p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Five organs of action:<\/strong><\/span><\/p><ul><li dir=\"ltr\"><div dir=\"ltr\">Arms, hands.<\/div><\/li><li dir=\"ltr\"><div dir=\"ltr\">Legs, feet, locomotion.<\/div><\/li><li dir=\"ltr\"><div dir=\"ltr\">Organs of excretion.<\/div><\/li><li dir=\"ltr\"><div dir=\"ltr\">Voice box \u2013 organ of communication.<\/div><\/li><li dir=\"ltr\"><div dir=\"ltr\">Organs of reproduction.<\/div><\/li><\/ul><p><b>\u00a0<\/b><\/p><div dir=\"ltr\">At a very early age, an infant uses sound to call for its mother. \u00a0That organ of communication is being developed to call to oneself the sense of early sense satisfaction (touch, skin, warmth, cuddling, sucking, eating, mother\u2019s voice, smell, etc.).<\/div><p><b>\u00a0<\/b><\/p><div dir=\"ltr\">As the infant grow older, it learns to use hands and arm to bring sense objects closer to the sense organ. \u00a0Colorful objects for its eyes, and other objects to put in its mouth. \u00a0Since the infant mind is not yet aware of what tastes good and what does not, it does not discriminate between what the hands put in the mouth.<\/div><p><b>\u00a0<\/b><\/p><div dir=\"ltr\">Soon the legs and feet are used to \u201cact\u201d and propel the entire body towards various sense objects. The sound of mommy, the smell of mommy, various objects to put in one\u2019s mouth, etc.<\/div><p><b>\u00a0<\/b><\/p><div dir=\"ltr\">As the infant grows, toilet training takes place and the organs of excretion \u2013 action are taught control. \u00a0By this time, the infant is being taught control and modification of arms\/hands, legs\/feet, and voice\/sound also.<\/div><p><b>\u00a0<\/b><\/p><div dir=\"ltr\">The organs of reproduction are used for \u201caction\u201d after \u201cmaturity\u201d \u2013 usually adolescence is when they mature (this is usually <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">after<\/span> the intellect is developed \u2013 see below for intellect \u2013 and the development of the intellect is celebrated as a second-birth or coming of age. \u00a0The intellect is thus meant for use by the adolescent, or early adult, to control the use of the last organ of action so as to distinguish a human from a lower species, which is often indiscriminate in its use of organs of reproduction in many, but not all, species).<\/div><p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>The Mind:<\/strong><\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>The Intellect:<\/strong><\/span><br \/><b><br \/><\/b><\/p><div dir=\"ltr\">In the case of a toy, we can see that there is a place where batteries are to be inserted and that the batteries allow the toy to move, to operate \u2013 that the batteries give <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">life<\/span> to the toy. \u00a0In case of any living organism there is the lack of a battery compartment, or a battery or an outlet or a switch. \u00a0Yet we know that an organism lives and then dies. \u00a0No organism is exempt from death. \u00a0But just as we are not born with an instruction manual, we are not told \u201cbatteries included\u201d or batteries not included. \u00a0So where does the life force in any living organism come from, and what is it? \u00a0That is the crux of the whole question and the theory and life itself. \u00a0What name shall we give that life force that makes us alive, and without which we die? \u00a0Over the centuries, this life force has been called the atman, also known as Consciousness or the Self.<\/div><p><b>\u00a0<\/b><\/p><div dir=\"ltr\">Just as we charge a rechargeable battery by plugging it into a wall outlet and drawing from a much larger source of energy, our atman is a small drop of \u201clife\u201d or \u201cenergy\u201d or \u201cconsciousness\u201d which has been drawn from a much larger source of the same energy which is known as Brahman (don\u2019t confuse this with Brahmin, an educated, equanimous, person or with Brahma \u2013 an imaginary god in Hindu mythology).<\/div><p>\u00a0<\/p><div dir=\"ltr\">Brahman is said to be everywhere, Brahman and atman are said to be something that cannot be seen, heard, smelt, tasted or touched. \u00a0Therefore all our sense organs cannot \u201cperceive\u201d Brahman or atman, the self. \u00a0One\u2019s mind and intellect cannot imagine Brahman or atman not conceive of it except in the most rudimentary form \u2013 as we are doing now. \u00a0This force is also known as God by many religions. \u00a0But contrary to many religious beliefs, this life force is essentially just as petrol\/gas is for a car \u2013 it gives the living organism the energy to live, to operate but it does not dictate the actions nor what happens to the living organism. \u00a0You cannot negotiate it, barter, plead, or pray to, this life force, Brahman or God.<\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"post-bottom\"><div class=\"post-footer float-container\"><div class=\"post-footer-line post-footer-line-2\">\u00a0<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div
